LANDING ON COWLITZ PUMP STATION AND FORCEMAIN

LANDING ON COWLITZ PUMP STATION AND FORCEMAIN

The Landing on the Cowlitz is a 107-acre development near Castle Rock, WA, situated beside the Cowlitz River and I-5. This expansive project aims to provide diverse spaces for employment, commerce, recreation, residential use, and open areas, significantly benefiting the region.

Windsor Engineers collaborated with Tapani Inc to design and build a sewer pump station for the development. The station features a wet well and duplex submersible pumps, with capacity for future growth. It includes a new force main connecting to an existing 6-inch diameter force main, which will be shared with adjacent future developments.

The project's scope encompassed civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation design services. Upon completion and approval, the City of Castle Rock will assume ownership and maintenance responsibilities for both the pump station and force main.

This infrastructure project is crucial for supporting the growth and development of The Landing on the Cowlitz, ensuring efficient wastewater management for the diverse mix of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces planned for the area.
