NERCC Biomass Boiler Extension Study

Windsor was hired by the Northeast Regional Correction Center (NERCC) to assess the feasibility of extending heating water from the biomass boiler to serve the outbuildings on campus.

Windsor surveyed the existing grounds and performed numerous calculations to determine the available excess capacity in the existing heating plant and estimated the cost to execute the extension as a future project.
